Well another track season in the books. I want to start out by saying great state meet with great kids. Our Chouteau kids competed with grit and determination. If you make the state meet you have already proven yourself as a quality athlete in the state of Oklahoma. Also very proud of our girls and the state academic championship. Next I want to thank every young man and lady who worked their tails off this year as a member of the Chouteau boys and girls high school track team. I couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of kids to finish my career with. Also a big thank you to all the athletes form Chouteau over the years who stepped on the oval or the field to compete in one the the greatest sports showcasing pure athletic ability that exist. Track takes hard work ,grit and determination and a huge amount of self discipline. I would try and mention every athlete I have coached in track here at Chouteau but would probably forget someone so thank you Chouteau track. You guys have been amazing. Also thank you to all their parents that let them compete for me. Thank you to administration present and past for letting me coach the sport I love.
Love all of you God Bless
Coach Cochran

2026 State Track Meet is now in the books!

Presley Inglett came in 4th place in the 100m hurdles with a PR, and came in 14th in the 300m hurdles. Her 4th place finish earned her another state medal, totaling 5 for her career!

Kayden Atkins made it to the finals in the 300m hurdles, and came in 8th overall. Looking forward to seeing what this sophomore can accomplish in the future!

Kaynee Alberty threw a 96’1 today in the ring, and came in 13th place overall. While it wasn’t a PR for her, she was very close to it and competed with a tough group!

Bradon Miller’s vaulting was not in our favor on Friday, but Bradon will forever be in the Chouteau history books as the first ever state qualifying pole vaulter!

And of course, our girls team accepted their Academic State Championship trophy today!

We are so proud of all of our athlete’s accomplishments this year at State. We appreciate our community’s support as well! Thank you all for a great year!
