Today is the day that I post the post that I’ve been dreading for a while now. BUT this sad news is followed up with some GREAT news so read all the way through to the bottom 😊!

Today is the day that I officially end of the Front Range Yoga Festival. Whether you know it or not, you, the Yoga Fest fam, have seen me through so many of my most transformative seasons of life in the last 7 years.

Now matter how a year started or ended, I knew I had Yoga Fest weekend to fill my cup. I started this event for a variety of reasons but, ultimately, I wanted to facilitate an event that allowed you to practice under our state’s best teachers; to explore different types of yoga that you may not have otherwise tried; and to make friends.

Yoga Fest did all of those things while creating a beautiful community who we’ve all grown to cherish.

Here’s something I haven’t shared with you before... I chose the first or second weekend of June for a specific personal reason. I wanted YF to fall on my birthday. Historically, my bday has kind of been a bummer and over the years my bday became a low key stress event. I wanted to re-wire the negative connotation I had in brain about my bday and create a new bday tradition that I could look forward to— and that we most certainly did!

I could go on and on about my feelings lol but I’ll just hit you with some of my favorite YF memories:

💕 When someone told me YF inspired her to teach
💕 When volunteers came back as teachers
💕 When teachers kept applying year after year
💕 When YF became the reason for a reunion wkend
💕 Every tight hug & every expression of gratitude
💕 Every quiet moment in between classes w/ the team

Thank you for the bottom of my heart for the memories and thank you for loving Yoga Fest. I love you, yoga fam!

Now shifting to the GREAT news… Yoga Fest lives on!!! Please please please go check out !!! When Alyssa reached out to me about continuing Yoga Fest, my heart could not have been happier. Come back to Choteau on summer solstice 2025 for MTYF!!! 💛☀️🤗

10 days away from Montana's best Yoga Fest Family reunion! We have some great instructors who will be leading a variety of incredible classes for all levels of practitioners... AND... ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​We've added a Cacao Ceremony on Friday evening, as well as, a Sound Meditation on Saturday evening!

FREE YOGA! Every year at Yoga Fest we offer 2 free yoga classes on Saturday & Sunday. Come join us at the Choteau Art Gallery on Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd from 11am-12pm for our free community yoga class. This year will be leading a Gentle Yoga class. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Also, this year we are partnering with foundation by offering GBY any and all class donations received from FRY's community yoga classes.

GBY is a nonprofit that helps yoga teachers, health workers, and charitable organizations bring yoga to those in need. They do this by offering yoga start-up supplies, teacher training scholarships and education and more.

They offer a variety of specifically healing classes but the one that I am most moved by is their Oncology Yoga. Go check them out because they are doing some good work out here in our world!
