⚾️ What a fun season of TBall!!

⚾️ Thank you for letting us introduce baseball to your kiddos and work with them all season. The improvement from the first day to our last day was fun to watch.

⚾️ I couldn’t have done this without you bringing them to each practice and hanging in there with me as we ran through drills. Thanks so much!!

⚾️ Happy Memorial Day! Have a great summer and as you can imagine, baseball fields are closed and we won’t have access for over a week due to tournaments.

Keep practicing scooping like a tractor, chomping like an alligator and throwing overhand.

⚾️ Hey T-Ball family: today is beautiful and we just got word the fields are open. However, they are playing a makeup game on our field and tonight was originally planned for the Parent/Player game. If weather holds out, let me know if you are up for a fun game Monday night at 5pm. I had a blast working with all the kiddos this year. ⚾️ If Monday doesn’t work, enjoy a great summer and play some ball if you can!

This weather is really cutting into our last week of T-Ball. Given the temperature and possibility of rain, we will be cancelling practice tonight. I will keep you updated for Thursday and any possibility of a final player/parent game.

See you all tonight at 5pm for another great T-Ball practice.

Our last scheduled practice/end of season will be 5/23. Looks like some weather is moving in for the end of this week and next. I’m trying to plan a parent / player game to end the season, if you have olders playing games let me know tonight. I will do my best to plan around as many as I can. It will be an informal game, splitting kiddos into 2 teams and parents playing the field only, 3 innings total. We will see if the 23rd will work for this.

⚾️ Tonight we will work on more throwing to first.

⚾️ Practice tonight and Thursday @ 5pm on field 1.

⚾️ Tonight I will have my cones to mark actual positions where each player will stand and field the ball. We will rotate through all positions and practice throwing to first base and pitcher.

⚾️ We will have hitters rotating into the field after they run around the bases.

⚾️ Parents can help in the field, helping kiddos move to the ball in their area and throwing to pitcher or first base. Trying to avoid dog piles. I will also have a parent hang around first to help with over throws and be the final target for the ball as we transition to the next batter.

These kids are doing great and I love seeing the progression. Your help is more than appreciated!!

I have a call into the Augusta team about a possible game, more to come.

UPDATE : we are planning on practice at 5pm
⛈ We are watching the weather carefully for tonight’s practice. If it starts to rain we will cancel, also if there are any thunderstorms in the area we will have to cancel. I will confirm either way as soon as we can make a determination. ⛈
