For many years, we've kept our Tai Chi pricing low, even as the costs of running our classes and the value of what we offer have changed. We have been very intentional about keeping the class accessible and affordable for our community, and we are grateful for everyone who has been part of this class over the years.

Beginning September 1, 2026, our Tai Chi class price will increase from $13 a class to $17.

We know that any price increase is worth communicating openly, and we want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. We are committed to continuing to provide a welcoming, high-quality space where you can slow down, move your body, cultivate balance, and enjoy the many benefits of Tai Chi.

Most importantly, we want to say thank you.
Thank you for showing up week after week.
Thank you for making this class such a wonderful part of our community. And thank you for trusting us to be part of your wellness journey.

We are so grateful to have you with us and look forward to continuing to practice together.

☀️ A Sunday Check-In ☀️

Before the week begins again, take a moment to ask yourself:
How am I, really?

Not what needs to get done.
Not what everyone else needs from me.
Not whether I’m being productive enough.
Just… how am I?

Where do I feel open?
Where do I feel tired?
Where am I holding tension?
What part of me is asking for a little more attention?

You don't have to fix anything.
Sometimes awareness is enough.

Put your feet on the ground. Take a slow breath. Feel your body. Let yourself be exactly where you are for a few moments.

There is wisdom in slowing down long enough to hear yourself.

May you enter this new week connected to yourself, rather than simply carried along by it. 🌿

A Perfect Yoga Class to Find Your Inner Compass 🧭

What if yoga wasn’t about pushing your body further—but about learning to listen to it more deeply?

Join me every Wednesday at 5:30 PM for The Inner Compass, a somatic yoga experience created to help you slow down, reconnect, and come home to your body.

This is not a workout. Through slow, nurturing movement, breath, stillness, and gentle postures, we explore the subtle ways energy moves through the body. We notice sensation. We listen. We soften. We create space for the body to communicate with us rather than constantly asking it to do more. This is a practice of body awareness, nourishment, and connection—a place to learn to feel at home in the body you live in and, perhaps, begin to love it in a whole new way.

✨ All bodies and all levels are welcome.
🌿 No experience necessary.
🧭 Come exactly as you are.

The most dangerous prison actually has no walls. The prison of you are certainty and the belief that you blindly hold. Growth only begins when we become willing to question everything we believe. Even questioning ourselves. Wisdom isn't having all the answers. Wisdom is staying curious and open minded.

Solstice Blessings

Today we welcome the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year and a sacred turning point in the Earth's journey around the sun.

For thousands of years, cultures around the world have gathered to honor this moment. The Summer Solstice reminds us that we are not separate from nature, but participants in an ancient rhythm that has been unfolding since the beginning of time.

The sun reaches its highest point in the sky, offering us its fullest expression of light, warmth, abundance, and life-giving energy. Yet, beneath the celebration of light lies a beautiful teaching...

The Solstice quietly reminds us that life moves in cycles. At the very moment we experience the greatest amount of daylight, we also begin the gradual return toward darkness. Nature teaches us that there is wisdom in both.
This is not a day of striving, accomplishing, or becoming more. It is a day of receiving. Receiving the warmth of the sun. Receiving gratitude for all that has grown. Receiving the lessons that this season of life has offered you. And perhaps most importantly, it is about remembering that you, too, are part of this great living Earth.

The trees are growing.
The flowers are blooming.
The insects are dancing.
The birds are singing.
The soil beneath your feet is alive. Your body, your breath, and your heart are woven into this same beautiful web of life.

The Summer Solstice invites us to step outside for a few moments and simply remember our belonging. You do not have to earn your place here. You are already part of the song of the Earth.

A Simple Solstice Meditation

Find a quiet place outside & sit comfortably with your feet connected to the Earth.

Close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in.
And a long breath out.
Again.
Breathing in the warmth of the sun.
Breathing out anything you no longer need to carry.
Imagine sunlight gently pouring over the top of your head.
Feel it travel through your face…
Your throat…
Your heart…
Your belly…
Your legs…
And into the Earth beneath you.
Now imagine the Earth sending energy back up to meet you.
Warmth rising from the soil.
Steadiness.
Support.
Belonging.
You are the bridge between Earth and Sky.
Take a moment to ask yourself:
What has grown within me since the winter months?
Pause.
Then ask:
What would I like to nourish and cultivate in the months ahead?
Allow whatever comes to arise naturally.
Take three final breaths.
Then gently open your eyes.
Place your hand on your heart and whisper:
I honor the light. I honor the Earth. I honor the life moving through me.

A Simple Solstice Ceremony

You only need a few things: A candle, a small bowl of water, a flower, a leaf, or a stone gathered from nature. And a journal if you'd like.

Take your items outside if possible.
Light the candle and say: "Today, I honor the light that sustains all life. I honor the Earth that nourishes me. I honor the cycles that guide me."

Hold your flower, leaf, or stone and spend a few moments reflecting upon what has blossomed in your life over the past six months.

Then ask yourself:
What am I grateful for?
What gifts have emerged within me?
What do I want to continue nurturing?

Place your hand in the bowl of water. Feel its coolness. Remember that you are made of Earth, water, air, fire, and the mystery that connects them all.

Offer a final blessing:
"May I walk gently upon this Earth. May I live in harmony with the seasons. May I trust the wisdom of life's cycles. May I remember that I belong."

Extinguish the candle with gratitude. Then spend a few moments simply listening to the wins, the birds, the trees, and to the silence between the sounds. The Earth is speaking to you, and today, we simply take the time to hear her.
