The Rick-A-Shay Ranch was started back in 1997 by Pamela Foshay. She worked at MEL-O-DEE stables for 3 years after high school and after that moved out to South Dakota to learn first hand from an amazing trainer. Working at the Yates Horse Ranch in Piedmont, SD, Pam studied under Roy Yates for 5 years. After her training she came back to Minnesota and started training horses for the public in 1981

. Pam has shown horses on the Quarter horse, Paint, Arabian and open Western Saddle Club Association (WSCA) circuits for over 40 years. Currently, she owns 7 horses of many different breeds, colors, and ages. Pam enjoys sharing her knowledge of horses with kids and adults of all ages. Lessons and horse training are offered in a variety of riding styles. Whether you would like to learn the basics of handling a horse, learn more about western pleasure, english, games, dressage, or would just like to enjoy a nice trail ride on your horse or ours, Pam and the Rick-A-Shay Ranch are here for you.
