A few of our awesome boys team, some friends, and an alumni captain took part in the sprint distance of the Chisago Lakes Triathlon today. A super early start and dealing with this heat warning, we were all glad the sun didn't show up until after they all came over the finish line.

Huge congratulations to an amazing and fearless group of young men whose swim team connections last long after season finishes.

A few are planning to do it again next year and maybe Coach Mancini will join 😄

Do you think All State gave him a big head?

Jamison Livermore: 6th Place. All State. And another All American submission. There are no words for the amount of work that Jamison put into making this happen. There are no words for how proud we are of Jamie, and of Deb. And there are no words for how much we will miss his leadership on this team. Jamie is such a hard working kid. His sportsmanship is unmatched. He cheers for every single opponent, lifts them up, and wants them to do their best. A coach from an opposing team gave him a letter and a gift, because she was going to miss his sportsmanship so much. That really says everything about him. He is one of the most humble kids you will ever meet. On Friday, he was looking over the scores and placement going into finals on Saturday. He hadn't had a great meet so far, yet he was sitting in 3rd place going into the last 3 dives. He looks up from the clipboard and goes "woah," and we ask what, and he responds "I'm good." This year, he won our conference, won our section, broke the team 6 dive and 11 dive records, and went into the State meet undefeated...and he didn't realize he was a "good diver." But a not so great meet and 3rd going into finals and bam, oh, I don't suck at this 🤣 there truly are no words for how proud we are of this young man. Congratulations, Jamie!!

STATE FINALS TONIGHT FOR JAMIE!!!! Prelims went ok. Nothing went horribly wrong, but certainly didn't dive his best...and going into tonight, he's in THIRD place!! Jamie has some very solid dives left, so tonight should be FUN!! Let's go, Jamie!!!! 🎉🎉
