Today’s Tip: Tire Pressure
Max it out. All the way. 120PSI for minimal rolling resistance and maximum speed. Send it.
We’re joking, of course, please don’t do that unless you like seeing the dentist.
Tire pressure can be tricky because it’s very subjective. There is no one-size-fits-all tire pressure for everyone. Factors like tire volume, suspension, terrain, and rider weight all matter when trying to figure out where to set those PSIs. Generally speaking you want some squish, not a rock-hard ride, to maximize comfort and control. Where that sweet spot lies you’ll kinda need to figure out while you ride this summer. Play with it. Your tire pressure. If you’re brain is rattling while you ride, let out some air. If you tap your wheel on some bumps, add some air. Do that enough, throw in a pre-ride, and you’ll know exactly where you need to be before race day.
