Back to school tips for parents P6.

6. Keep One-Pot Dinners in the Rotation
Some school nights call for dinner that gets everyone fed without using every pan in the kitchen.

This One-Pot Cheeseburger Mac brings together lean ground turkey, pasta, tomatoes, cheese, mini sweet peppers and Shuman Farms RealSweet® Vidalia® Onions in one family-friendly skillet.

The onions cook directly into the sauce, adding mild sweetness and flavor without sitting on top announcing themselves to every suspicious vegetable detective at the table.

Serve it with fruit, sliced cucumbers, carrots or another simple produce side. Leftovers can also be packed warm in a thermos for lunch the following day.

Dinner does not have to be complicated to feel comforting and complete. Sometimes one pan and fewer dishes are the whole victory.
