MOJO Returns to the Chincoteague Pony Centre

When our team starts working on surprises and I happen to capture moments like this…

It reminds me just how incredible the Chincoteague Pony truly is.

Their versatility, athleticism, intelligence, and willingness to partner with people never cease to amaze us. Whether it’s preserving the history of the breed, sharing their personalities with visitors, or exploring new ways to showcase their talents, these ponies are always up for the challenge.

We’re constantly looking for ways to make our shows engaging, educational, and memorable for our guests. Sometimes that means thinking outside the box and trying something new.

The ponies may have a few new tricks under their hooves this season.

Special Pony Announcement!

On an island known around the world for its ponies, we thought it was only fitting to introduce something new.

Long before goat yoga became a trend, Chincoteague was home to miniature horse farms and shows that delighted visitors for generations. In that spirit, we’re excited to introduce a limited Pony Yoga & Gentle Movement experience featuring Blue, our eight-hand-tall micro mini.

Blue has been hard at work practicing his stretches, balance poses, and relaxation techniques, and he’s ready to make his debut.

At this time, Blue will be making only “TWO”special Pony Yoga appearances, giving guests a unique opportunity to enjoy a gentle movement session alongside one of the smallest equine ambassadors on Chincoteague Island.

And don’t worry—the goats aren’t going anywhere!
Goat Yoga & Gentle Movement continues Sunday’s at 8:00 AM, and our favorite four-legged yoga instructors are ready to welcome you.

Now the question is…

As we celebrate Flag Day, we’re reminded of the enduring connection between horses and the American spirit. From military mounts and working ranch horses to the beloved horses and ponies that continue to inspire generations, they have long been part of our nation’s story.

These special Breyer models represent more than collectibles—they reflect the heritage, courage, hope, and traditions that unite the equine community across America.

Today we honor our flag, celebrate our freedoms, and recognize the ponies and horses that have helped shape our history along the way.
