Day 4 of 4 fishing the King Mackerel Tournament. Did some running looking for a big fish. Found a few nice Kings up to 27 lbs and the tax man took half of a giant Spanish. Most of the boats have one more day to fish but currently sitting in 2nd in the Slam.

Took a gamble today that did not pay off. Crossed the bar into some wild seas looking for the big one. Found a ton of bluefish that killed many baits and finally ran back in with the fleet on the beach and picked up 2 more kings.

16 flounder and 12 stitches later we had an eventful Sunday. Slow bite wreck hopping with great sea conditions. Slow drift and a tough flounder bite but we're able to put a few together. A slight mishap cleaning the boat ended in 12 stiches in the bottom of my foot.

Thats a wrap on Paradise Pounder 2026 for us! Great week of fishing but nothing big enough to go to the scales. Day 1 we landed our biggest at 6 lbs but not large enough for the scales in this tournament. Day 2 we found a better bite in the afternoon and Day 3 we had a 4 man limit within 45 mins and continued to catch fish all day long.
