We had a great turnout today with 15 young people. All did an awesome job. We will not shoot Aprils shoot due to it being Easter Sunday. We will resume in May.

First Jr match kicks off this Sunday March 1 at 1:30pm on range 5 and 6. Looking foward to seeing everyone out to start off our 2026 season.

We had a great 2025 season, I hate we had to wrap it up but I’m already looking forward to next year. 7 total shoots this year with a total overall of 72 attendees. Thats 72 chances to help teach firearm safety and respect to our youth. We had several show up for every shoot helping increase their chances at our first every ticket raffle. These two young men did great all season and both won our drawing. Congrats, and remember to be safe. Hope to see everyone out next season. We start back in March! A huge thank you to the volunteers that help every month and for the clubs support to keep this program strong.

Tomorrow Oct 5,2025 will be our season ending fun shoot. Come out if you can and get some hands on safety training and have some fun shooting untraditional targets. It’s always a great time and this year we have a couple special give aways!!! Hope to see everyone out there at 1:30. CTRP Jr staff appreciates everyone coming out this year, we always have a fun time working with the youth and training firearm safety and respect. We have had 61 total youth shooters so far this year, that’s 61 chances work with, teach and potential help avoid accidents from misinformation or curiosity. Thank you parents for giving us the opportunity to work with your youth.

I’m sorry to say due to weather and flooding at the rage we will have to call off the shoot for tomorrow July 6. I never like canceling them but sometimes it’s out of our control due to weather. The safety of the kids is our top priority and with standing water and muddy conditions we have decided it’s not the ideal conditions for firearm instruction with the youth. I look forward to our next shoot Aug 3rd. Hope to see everyone out there then. Have a safe weekend.

We had a great shoot last Sunday with 10 kids shooting. 5 first timers out and everyone did great.

This year we will be giving away 2 special prizes in a blind ticket pull. Each time the youth shoots the program this year they get a ticket in the bucket. We will do a blind pull for the wins during our Oct Fun Shoot. Trust me you will like the prizes. Spread the word and let’s get our youth safety trained and some hands on in the fi****ms world.

Slight typo, Club calendar says shooting next week, but it is actually 1st Sunday tomorrow so we are shooting tomorrow. Hope to see everyone out 6-1-25.
