PORT TOWNSEND — East Jefferson’s Brody Moore, coming off an outstanding season for the Rivals baseball team, was named to the all-Nisqually League second team.

Cascade Christian Cougars Dunn in by East Jefferson Rivals today. Sophomore Rylan Dunn pitched 6 innings of shutout baseball while striking out 11 batters.. Dunn also added an RBI on a double hit to the right field gap. Freshman James Lattier pitched the 7th for the save and completed the shutout. As well as hitting a double off the left field fence. Juniors Evan Kraft and Sawyer Ziel each had a single along with Senior catcher Cash Holmes who also threw out a runner attempting to steal third. Great team effort today Rivals.

Brody Moore goes the distance for the Rivals today. Pitches a 3 hit shutout with 7 strikeouts. Cash Holmes drives in the only run of the game and solid infield defense by Peter Giddens, Sawyer Ziel, Rylan Dunn and James Lattier add up to 1-0 victory over Vashon Island. Good job boys!
