All Members:

Just as a reminder, unload and put away your weights at the end of your training session. There has been an increasing problem with members leaving bars loaded, weights leaning up against things, and dumbbells not being put away, especially overnight when none of the training staff is in.

As a member of this club it is your responsibility to clean up after yourself and not leave your mess for someone else to clean up for you. Failure to do so could result in the termination of your membership.

Merry Christmas to all of the Dave’s Strength & Physique Club members!
Santa came a day early this year and brought us a Reverse Hyperextension machine from Titan Fitness! We are hoping to have this assembled and in the club by Monday!

Originally developed by Louie Simmons of Westside Barbell in Columbus, this machine will be a great addition to the club and a huge help to all of our members. Louie came back to squat 800lbs by using his original design after suffering a broken back.

If you’ve never used one of these, they have a variety of uses, but are primarily to strengthen to lower back and glutes without putting a significant strain or load on the spinal column. For instructions or guidance on how to use it, see Dave, Jarred, or Tiffany!

Team Beast will heading up to Youngstown to compete once again on Sunday. This time we will be sending seven of our members to bring home another win for themselves and the gym. We have five competing in power and two competing in bench. Be sure to wish them the best and we will be getting the results to everyone as soon as possible.

In one week, Dave’s Strength & Physique Club’s “Team Beast Powerlifting Team” will be hitting the platform at the WNPF Ohio Championships in Youngstown, OH.
It has been a quick turn around since Nationals in July, but all of the returning members are ready to go, along with some new faces.
Representing the club at this meet will be:

Kayla Adams
Madison Adams
Ben Wallace
Chris Davis
Gabriel Davis
Jesse Lett
Club Trainer Jarred Grooms

Each of these Beasts has put in the work and will be stepping onto the platform with the sole purpose of setting new personal bests, breaking federation state records, and bringing some Drug Free Powerlifting hardware back to Chillicothe.

Daves S&P Club wishes all of these lifters the best of luck!

Despite all of the setbacks and closures from COVID-19, Dave’s Strength & Physique has been working hard since reopening and will be sending 4 competitors to represent our club and Chillicothe at the WNPF National Powerlifting meet in Youngstown, OH this Sunday, July 12th!

We would like to wish the best of luck to Kayla Adams, Thomas Abaffy, Ben Wallace, and DS&P trainer Jarred Grooms; The 2020 members of Team Beast Powerlifting.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates as these 4 Beasts pack some hardware back to Chillicothe with them.

Due to everyone trying to get back into a routine, the June 7th deadline for membership fees is being extended to the end of this week.
All June memberships MUST be paid by midnight on June 12th. If you have not paid for June and fail to pay by the 12th, your key card will be deactivated.

‼️Announcement‼️

Dave’s Strength & Physique Club will be opening Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30am to our members. All members will need to read and abide by the posted guidelines while in the club. These will be posted on the door and inside the club.

Unfortunately, at this time we will not be accepting any new members. We will be open for new members starting July 1. Sorry for any inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding.

We look forward to seeing our members back next week and to seeing some new faces in July!

Our gym will be opening Tuesday the 26th at 6:30am. A new set of rules and guidelines will posted in the club once opened. We ask everyone to please make sure to read and follow all these strictly. We are Looking forward to seeing all the Beasts back!
