At the Grand River Area Family YMCA were working together for a BETTER US. Because we understand that a strong community can only be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors, we provide services such as fitness classes, youth sports programming, BackPack Buddies, Y-PALS, activities for seniors, and special events that enrich the lives of children and families. The Y is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization relying on donors and volunteers to help those in need right here in our community. With a goal of ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to become healthier, more confident, connected and secure, we offer need-based financial assistance to individuals and families wishing to join the Y or participate in one of our programs. We're looking for excited, motivated individuals to lead fitness and aquatics classes, teach swim lessons, coach gymnastics, lifeguard, offer personal training, and MORE. Just a reminder! Hedrick Medical Center will be offering free physical at the YMCA tonight from 5 -7 pm for boys and girls in our tackle football, competitive gymnastics (Aerial Angels), and competitive swim (Rapids) programs. Physicals will be provided on a first come first serve basis. A parent must be present to complete and sign required paperwork.
