That's a wrap, and what a season it's been.

We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who made this season one to remember. Thank you to the players, teams, umpires, volunteers, as well as Ross County Baseball Park, Paint Valley High School, and VA Memorial Stadium for hosting our games this year.

Congratulations to the 2026 SOABL Champions, the Southern Ohio Swamp Cats, and shoutout to all the other teams who participated with us this season:

The SOABL Championship Series between the Southern Ohio Swamp Cats and the Chillicothe Tropics Baseball Club concludes today with games 2 and 3 (if necessary) at the VA Memorial Stadium. Come out and enjoy some championship baseball, admission is free. The Tropics lead the series 1 - 0.

Location: VA Memorial Stadium (17273 St. Rt. 104, Chillicothe, OH 45601)
Gates will open at 2:00 PM.

Game 2: First pitch; 3:00 PM
Game 3: First pitch; 6:00 PM (if necessary)

Chillicothe Tropics Baseball Club take Game 1 over the Southern Ohio Swamp Cats in nine innings, 10 - 6 to take a 1 - 0 series lead. Game 2 is tomorrow at 3:00 PM with Game 3 (if necessary) following at 6:00 PM. Good luck to both teams!

With the regular season coming to an end, we would like to extend our gratitude to the Ross County Parks District, and to Paint Valley High School for the use of their baseball facilities. We would also like to thank our umpires for officiating our games this season.
