What is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you ask??
Well, let me tell you… They are so much more than their title. They are some of the most amazing humans you will ever meet… and their job- they are basically a veterinary jack-of-all-trades.
RVTs are ALL of the following and then some:
1. Nurse
2. Surgical Assistant
3. Groomer
4. X-ray Technician
5. Phlebotomist
6. Laboratory Technician
7. Janitor
8. Lunch Lady
9. Dog Walker
10. Educator
11. Shoulder to Cry On

13. DOCTOR’S RIGHT-HAND
14. Multi-tasking Ninja
15. Computer Pro
16. Receptionist
17. AND SO MUCH MORE!!
Have a veterinary appointment today? This week? Be sure to thank your vet techs!
They work long, difficult hours, and many times they do not have time to stop for a bathroom break or to even eat their lunch. Most days they are running dehydrated and on fumes. Their job is very demanding, both physically and mentally, and it can be very draining. They pour their hearts and souls into caring for patients, and each of them treat your pets as if they were their own. They try to give individual attention to every pet, and devote much of their time to making your pet as comfortable as possible while in our care. Our vet techs care about your beloved fur baby almost as much as you do! Please be kind- show them how much you appreciate them, not just this week, but EVERY DAY!
Shout out to all of the technicians I have worked with over the years- I have no way to tag everyone, and I’m sure I will miss some, but know that I LOVE YOU ALL AND I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO MY JOB WITHOUT YOU!!!!!

I’m FINALLY getting back into a routine! This summer has been crazy!! But you know what!?!? That doesn’t stop me!

How many of you have found yourself overwhelmed with everything going on lately? The kids are finishing up the school year… you’re super busy with work… summer sports are starting up… you need to get through your long list of spring cleaning chores… the yard needs tending to…. how can you possibly find time to work out and take care of yourself properly on top of everything else???
Well, I can tell you that I myself have been struggling with making the time to work out, and I can feel it. I am not nearly as energetic, I’m tired all the time, I don‘t sleep well, and well, I can just feel the difference. I can tell you that the reason why I haven’t had time to take proper care of myself is because I haven’t made myself and/or working out a PRIORITY. Well, that stops NOW.
I am revamping my own journey and kickstarting a new group! I’m looking for 5 LADIES to join me with my new boot camp!! Are you looking to get your fitness journey started? Need to rekindle the 🔥🔥🔥??? Looking for nutrition tips for healthy eating???

I have always been one of those people who wants to wait to start doing new workouts until the following Monday... I never want to just pick myself up and get started right then and there...
Today just isn't the day....
I'm too busy...
What if I fail?
I'll just start tomorrow...
I'm so busy that sometimes I can't keep my days straight. But if there is one thing I have learned, its that there is NO better time than NOW.
If you keeping putting it off, you'll always be that much further from your goal. The days are going to continue passing you by, and everyday that you refuse to make a committment to improving your health is that much longer that it'll take for you to reach any of your goals.
So, put down the tv remote. Stop making excuses. You must decide that today is THE day. You can do this; know that it will be different this time.
Now, let's get started!!!
