As I continue to expand my online coaching, I’m going to be beta testing the newly structured roadmap I designed for my 1:1 coaching program 🙌🏻⁣

How do you measure progress if you aren’t focused on weight loss? 💭⁣

Years ago I would weigh myself daily. Sometimes multiple times per day. I thought that if I weighed anything over 125, I was out of control in gaining weight. In my mind, that was the only way I could determine if I was making any progress. 𝘉𝘰𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘐 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨.⁣

Personally as a coach, 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁-𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱.⁣

However, it’s important to note that 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲.⁣

Here are a few ways you can measure progress that doesn’t involve weighing yourself:⁣

🩵 You’re starting to be able to lift heavier weights, the weights you’re currently using feel lighter, or you can complete more reps.⁣

💚 Your endurance is improving — you can sustain cardio activities (ie. running, playing w/ your kiddos, etc.) for longer without getting winded.⁣

💛 You can see positive changes in your mood, stress levels, and overall mental health.⁣

🩷 Your clothes fit better even though the scale hasn’t moved (or you aren’t using a scale).⁣

🧡 You feel more confident in yourself & your day-to-day life.⁣

💜 You’re getting consistent ~ consistency is a sign that you’re developing a habit, which is a huge sign of progress.⁣
