A huge congratulations to Zack on earning his PURPLE BELT!

Zacl continues to show what martial arts is all about, hard work, perseverance, courage, and never giving up. Every new belt represents countless hours of training, learning, and pushing through challenges, and Zach should be incredibly proud of this accomplishment.

Watching our adaptive students continue to grow, gain confidence, and achieve their goals is one of the greatest parts of what we do at the Center for Martial Arts & Fitness.

Zack, you earned this! Congratulations on your Purple Belt! We are all extremely proud of you, and we can't wait to see what you accomplish next.

CFMAF Before & After School Families!

Please take a few minutes to review our latest parent newsletter. There is a lot of important information as we get settled into the new school year!

📅 There is NO SCHOOL Monday, August 31 or Tuesday, September 1, but CFMAF will be open for full-day care from 7:30 AM–5:30 PM. Please remember, we close at 5:30 PM — NOT 6:00 PM. Children will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle both days.

🌳 Monday, August 31 we are heading to Look Park in Northampton! Please send your child with a bathing suit, towel, bag for wet clothes, water bottle, and lunch.

📝 Registration forms are needed ASAP! All children need a NEW 2026–2027 registration form. If you would like your child to attend our Before & After School Program, please return the form as soon as possible. A completed registration form is required to guarantee your child’s spot.

🚐 Please help us with transportation by letting us know as far in advance as possible if your child will not be attending. Last-minute changes make transportation much more difficult to coordinate. Please text Lori before 12:00 PM when reporting an absence. If she is unable to answer because she is working or teaching, you may call 413-594-9200 and leave a message.

✏️ Homework is a top priority! If you notice homework is missing, incomplete, or not being completed consistently, please let us know. We will address it right away and help keep your child on track.

🥋💃 Martial Arts and Dance classes begin next week! These classes are optional for students.

📱 Personal electronics are allowed on FRIDAYS ONLY, and all content must be age appropriate. School-issued computers may be used during the program for homework and schoolwork only.

🎒 Back to School Safety Reminder 🚌

As students head back to school this week, we’re reminding all drivers to use extra caution on our roadways. Please slow down in school zones, watch for children crossing the street, and stay alert around bus stops.

🛑 When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop sign extended, you must STOP. Never attempt to pass a stopped school bus.

A few extra seconds of patience can help keep our students safe. Let’s work together to make the start of the school year a safe one for everyone! 📚🚸

Today we traded the mats for the trailszl, exploring, learning, staying active, and having fun together at Lake Wallace Sensory Trail!
