Quick run up the hill this morning to get in some trail work before the storm . First stop was the top entrance of the Frog Rock trail. This trail is the main entry point into the basin so it has to be maintained I cut the last two remaining logs then headed down to the lower entrance to get that all brushed out. It was a good four hour workout. The soil is still moist and the leaves are popping with color. It’s going to get even better after the rain hits.

3 day moto camp Only got one photo in for some reason. Day one 5 showed up we ran into some nice moisture up higher and got in a good 40 mile loop. Day two a few others showed up. It was a lot drier than the day before We hit some different trails this time for another long day Day 3 trail work time… One rider got a flat and headed back for a tube but we never saw him after that. Reuel Brundage and I opened up about a mile of trail that had not been worked on in three years. We then blasted back hitting the Mad Max trail that we had missed so it was a good 4 hour excursion for a Sunday morning

Got out today for some trail work. Found some old stuff and brought it back into the loop. Had to do some work in the boulders. Lots of big animal dens in the rocks so that was a little concerning with all the big cats up there. Fired up the saw and ran it for a while to flush out anything that might be sleeping. Really liking the granite areas. Easy to work on with very little maintenance.

Early run up to the basin. Finished opening a legal trail then up to flag the solid granite trail sections getting them back into the loop. The granite areas are a blast to ride and easy to maintain. Made one cut in a mile of granite trail with zero brush work. 5300 feet elevation at the top temps were in the low 80s at noon. One more connector trail needs some light clearing and basin will be back in order. Looking forward to putting up the tools for the rest of the season.

Great annual event. Raised over $10,000 to put kids back on bikes.

Hundreds of dirt bike riders celebrated the new year by raising money for kids who survived the Camp Fire. You wouldn't think that flying dirt and loud engines would be the best way to celebrate, but for the Paradise Ridge Riders, it's perfect. On top of the high speeds and sharp turns, the clubs's....
