Win Giants tickets at "Baseball Night at Cal Skate"! This coming Tuesday, June 9th, our CheapSkate Night theme is going to be everything baseball! We'll have baseball music, trivia, costume contest for best team outfit, and baseball give-a-ways! Each paid admission gets a free raffle ticket - you could win complimentary batting cage rounds, ballpark nachos or hot dogs, or even 2 San Francisco Giant baseball game tickets! The session runs from 6:30-8:30pm, and only costs $9.50 - including quad rental skates!

Cal Skate Customer Appreciation Night! This Saturday, May 23rd - Two-for-One skate admission from 7:00pm to 9:30pm. Grab a friend or family member and make it down to Cal Skate where we get to thank YOU for making us Chico's favorite family entertainment center for the past 48 years! We'll have special give-a-ways all night, snack bar specials, and music from the 1970's through the 2020's that are certified rink favorites and truly made to skate to. We'll even have plenty of 'couples skates' to bring back the days of old. Stick around after 9:30 for our one and only Adult Night for skaters 18+! Thank you Chico!

It's National Mini-Golf Day on Saturday, May 9th! To celebrate, we're going to have a Glow Golf night on FRIDAY night from 8:30pm - 11pm. On SATURDAY afternoon we'll celebrate the day with 2-for-1 miniature golfing between 12 - 4:00pm! Glow golf will cost $15 for adults, $13 for kids under 10, and includes your very own 7-color LED golf ball you get to keep! Saturday golf round prices are $10.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids.

Goodbye purple floor! Check out this time-lapse video - watch the ceiling change color as we go, too! Pretty cool. Back to the original color if you remember back to 2022 - some of our new skaters have only seen purple! It's drying now as we speak, so our next open time and opportunity to skate on the smooth floor is Friday, from 3-5pm. Be sure to check your own skates as we'll be extra strict at the door now - no rocks in the brakes, bolts sticking out, missing brakes, etc. See you then!

Robbie Richardson memorial skate! Come and join us on Saturday night (March 21st) as we skate with the public, but also take time to remember our friend, Robbie. Friends and family will be on hand to share stories and skate with Robbie, in memory. The "Family Night" public session starts at 7:00pm and runs until 9:30pm, and "Adult Night" (18+ only) runs right after it from 9:30-11:30pm. Admission is $11 each, skate rental is extra. Not skating and just want to come down and celebrate Robbie? No problem, no charge.

Just announced! Chico Spring Break Camp is back for 2026! During the week of March 16th - March 20th, we'll be hosting our famous Summer/Winter Break camps but during the CUSD Spring Break. Your camper can spend the week skating with lessons from our pros, learn how to mini golf, and take some supervised cuts in the batting cages. Plus, arts/crafts, arcade game tournaments, recess-style games on the skating floor, basketball and kickball outside, and so much more. Campers can stay just for the morning (9am-1pm, or all-day with the public skating session as well: 9am-5pm. All the details and registration forms can be found back on our website, or check out the attached flier. Hurry! Space is limited!

Pokemon Night is COMING! On Tuesday, March 3rd from 6:30-8:30pm our "CheapSkate" them will be the one and only Pokemon! We will be playing Pokemon music, conducting a costume contest to see who can dress up the most Pokemon-ish, we'll be giving away Pokemon plush prizes, and even some Pokemon trading cards. Either way, if you're a fan, or your kid's a fan, you're not going to want to miss out on this. As always, our Tuesday CheapSkate nights are just $9.50 and that INCLUDES your regular quad skates. Inlines/Rollerblades are just $1.00 more to upgrade.

Our Tuesday Night CheapSkate Nights are always great, but this CheapSkate is one of the best: it's 'Fat Tuesday!' On February 17th, we're doing our evening CheapSkate Mardi Gras style! We're going to have masks and beads to give away, some true New Orleans mardi gras tunes here-and-there, and a costume contest for best mask and also one for most worn green, purple, and gold! As they say on Bourbon Street, "Let the good times roll!" Skating runs from 6:30-8:30pm for just $9.50 - including quad skate rental!

It's a 4-Day Weekend! We will be open special hours the next four days for those out of school for Lincoln's Birthday on Friday, and President's Day on Monday! We will be open all four days from 1-4pm and 2-5pm. Admission prices are different each day, and skate rental is extra. Mini-golf and batting cages open earlier on those Holidays as well: 12:00 noon to at least 8:00pm. Come out and Play!
