Need help staying focused?

A well-known strategy that works best for me is the Pomodoro Technique.

✅ 25 minutes of focused work
✅ Then take a 5 minute break - for real (get up, walk around)
✅ Continue with this pattern, and take a longer break (20-30 min) after 4 rounds

I use the clock app on my computer to keep it simple.

Put away distractions and get things done.

Have you tried this? If not, what’s your go-to time management strategy?

Let's check-in about burnout.

I've been through my fair share, and I'm guessing many of you have as well.

This is a quick assessment, designed for tech workers but still applies to other industries/fields. The results will show either Low, Moderate, or High Burnout.

Knowing this gives you more insight, or just confirms what you already know.

Are your daily routines helping you be more productive or keeping you stuck?

One simple way to take back control of your time is to create a daily routine. Starting the day with a solid morning routine can set you up for success.

For years, I’ve heard clients talk about struggling with waking up early to start their day. If you’re not a natural early bird, trying to force it without a plan can feel daunting—and exhausting. 😴

In my 20s, I wanted to wake up earlier, but I didn’t make any real changes to make that happen. I’d press snooze, stay up later than I planned, and didn’t stick to a consistent sleep schedule.

Sound familiar?

It took me years of small changes and a lot of consistency, but now my morning routine is 99% the same every day. And I’m now waking up at the time I want to, with energy to start the day off. ☕

The good news is that your routine doesn’t have to revolve around the morning. Maybe focusing on your nighttime routine is a better fit for you and will set you up for a productive next day.

Start small. You don’t need to overhaul your entire schedule at once (and honestly, that rarely works). Focus on just one area at a time and keep refining it as you go.

The key is consistency. And when you miss a day (because that will happen), don’t dwell on it—just get back on schedule the next day. Each day builds momentum and creates habits that stick over time. 💯

What’s one part of your day you can focus on to build a routine? 🤔

In the fast paced tech world, staying focused on your goals can be tough.

It can feel like progress is taking too long.

But don’t forget the importance of consistent, small wins that lead to big results over time. 📈

Start by defining your big goal—you need to know where you’re aiming.

Once you know this, work backwards to break it down into manageable steps. Give yourself deadlines and stick to them.

💡 What action can you take today to move you one step closer to your big goal?

Do you know what performance coaching for tech workers looks like? Here’s a behind-the-scenes overview of how I help my clients make real changes:

🔍 Identifying your biggest pain points
We start with a customized pre-coaching assessment to explore areas like stress, confidence, and work-life balance. We’ll also assess burnout to get a clear picture of where you’re starting right now.

🧠 EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) coaching at the core
While we can use a variety of strategies, EMDR coaching is what makes my program unique. As a tech professional, EMDR coaching helps you get to the root causes of what’s holding you back and helps you perform at your best.

📊 Tracking progress
We’ll complete follow-up screenings for burnout and stress, gather feedback along the way, and check in regularly to support you with any challenges that may get in the way of practicing skills outside of sessions. It’s all about finding what works best for you.

🎯 The goal
Whether it's reducing stress, boosting productivity, or building confidence, every coaching plan is personalized to your specific challenges and goals.
