Remember how important is to surround yourself with like minded individuals.

People that encourage you to do better. They uplift you.

If they don’t bring value to your life or have a positive impact on you, it’s best to create some separation.

I’ve realized it doesn’t matter if it is your best friend or not. If they don’t align with you and they don’t hold space for you or have the same expectations as you do them, as difficult as it may be, it’s time to let go.

It’s never personal. People grow apart sometimes, and that’s ok.

Am I satisfied with the results? Not even close! I don’t think I ever will be, but I feel good about the work I am putting in each day and what I am getting out of it.

Never feeling satisfied is one thing, and it’s a good thing to an extent. It helps keep us driven towards a better life.

Instead of seeking satisfaction I choose to focus on the things make me a better person and genuinely happy.

• Embrace a growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement.

• Set realistic goals and celebrate each win.

• Practice gratitude to shift my perspective and find fulfillment in the present.

I’ve been a fitness and health coach for over two years now and it wasn’t until about a month ago I joined Team Reform to pursue bodybuilding the men’s physique category.

I knew if I stood any sort of chance up on the stage to compete I needed a coach. Even coaches need coaches. That is how we get better at our craft inside and outside of the gym.

I didn’t sign up to bodybuilding just to compete. I wanted to grow as an individual and challenge myself and my character. I want to struggle and go to places within myself I haven’t been since working as a wild land firefighter.

I miss the camaraderie, the action, and both suffering and thriving at the same time. I look forward to ALL of the highs and lows. It’s all about PERSONAL GROWTH.

Anyone who is contemplating whether or not they should have a coach the answer is YES! We should all strive to be our very best and having someone who can provide a little bit of that it’s a no brainer.

It involves learning, adapting, and overcoming challenges. Progress involves trial and error, moments of stagnation, and periods of rapid growth.

The human experience is dynamic when it comes to achieving success. People have the most success in life when they put most of their efforts into self improvement and personal growth rather than something like their job.

Here is a little update on where my body is currently first thing in the morning. Having a little fun NOT trying to pose like a pro! lol

The reality is this is what I look like majority of the day and there is nothing wrong with that. What you see on social media is mainly posts/reels/pics of what you look like after you have worked out and have a crazy pump.

Yes, it’s awesome in the moment, but it is just not reality throughout the day. I’m so happy with where I am at currently in my physique, but man do I have a longggg way to grow!

Enjoy the results as they come. Celebrate all of the wins, big and little, continue to learn and grow, and most importantly have fun and enjoy the process!
