Here's a lighter balance challenge with less risk. This is more accessible to those who are still trying to build confidence and control. All you need is something to step over, and something to balance on on each side of that object. It could be a yoga block and two boards, a railing running under something, maybe some curbs, some tree branches or logs, two small children and one larger, anything! 😜
Rules (pretty much all optional!)
1. Feet avoid the ground.
2. Avoid using your hands on anything.
3. Avoid touching the object you're stepping over with any part of your body.
In the video, I stepped over by bending the legs first (in each direction), then I stepped over bending one leg and keeping the other straight, and finally stepped over with each leg straight. You could also try positioning your body so that your feet are parallel to the balance objects, stepping over forward and backward.
