CHAMPYON IS JOINING THE LABOR DAY PARADE! 🥋

We’re excited to announce that ChampYon Taekwondo USA will be participating in the Labor Day Parade on Saturday, September 5!

We invite ALL ChampYon students from every class and age group to join us as we march together and represent the ChampYon family!

🥋 Students: Wear your full Taekwondo uniform and belt.
📅 Saturday, September 5
📍 Parade time 11:00am/location will be shared with participants.

Please accept the invitation online or let Miss Felima at the front desk know that your student will be participating.

This is a great opportunity to come together, represent our school, and show the community the strength and spirit of our ChampYon family. We would love to have a BIG group of students marching with us!

PLUS — stay with us after the parade!

ChampYon has also been invited to perform a Taekwondo demonstration at Eddie Fest on the small stage at approximately 2:30PM. We invite our families to come out, watch the demonstration, and support our students!

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Some of our ChampYon students have already started, and many more are heading back tomorrow. I want to wish all of our students a safe, successful, and amazing school year!

Remember to take what you learn on the mat with you into the classroom:

Be confident. Be respectful. Be kind. Stand up for others. Include someone who may feel left out, and always lead by example.

You don’t have to wear your uniform to show what it means to be a martial artist.

Be a Leader. Be a ChampYon.

Celebrating the completion of our ChampYon Internship Program in Chinatown!

We are so proud of Olivia, Abby, Ixchel, and Ivan for completing their internship with us. From going through an interview process and learning workplace expectations to assisting with Taekwondo classes, camps, events, and daily responsibilities, they gained real hands-on experience throughout the program.

Our goal is to prepare our young leaders for the future—teaching them responsibility, communication, professionalism, leadership, and work ethic that they can carry into college, careers, business ownership, and beyond.

Today we celebrated their accomplishments with lunch in Chinatown, certificates, and their internship stipends.

ANTI-BULLYING WEEK AT CHAMPYON

We wrapped up our Back-to-School Anti-Bullying Week at ChampYon!

Throughout the week, our students participated in age-appropriate lessons focused on confidence, awareness, self-control, and leadership.

We talked about how to recognize bullying, using a strong and confident voice, walking away instead of escalating a situation, when to ask an adult for help, cyberbullying, peer pressure, and how to be an upstander when someone else is being targeted.

Most importantly, our students learned that knowing Taekwondo doesn’t mean you have something to prove.

Real strength is having the confidence to stand up for yourself, the self-control to walk away, and the courage to stand up for others.

These are lessons that go far beyond the mat and into their schools, homes, and communities.

🥋 BACK-TO-SCHOOL ANTI-BULLYING WEEK AT CHAMPYON

Going back to school is about more than new supplies and new routines. It’s also important that children feel confident, prepared, and know what to do when faced with bullying.

This week at ChampYon, our students are participating in age-appropriate Anti-Bullying lessons focused on:

• Recognizing bullying
• Using a strong, confident voice
• Walking away instead of escalating
• Knowing when to ask an adult for help
• Safely standing up for others
• Cyberbullying and social media awareness for older students
• Understanding that knowing Taekwondo comes with greater responsibility and self-control

We teach our students that being strong doesn’t mean proving you can fight. True strength is having the confidence to stand up for yourself, the self-control to make good choices, and the courage to help someone else.
