Coach Dave meant the world to us and if it wasn't for Woodridge Baseball we wouldn't have had him in our lives for a short 10 years. Back before the days of gamechanger when Dave couldn’t come to a game he would make me promise I would give him a play by play. These games mostly happened at the Sipley baseball field. Maggie and Dave have lived in Woodridge for almost 20 years and all three of their children attended Sipley School. Coach Dave coached in Woodridge baseball for ten years as well as basketball. Because of all of this, we will be dedicating one of the trees close to the baseball field to Coach Dave Rocco. We are just reaching out in case anyone would like to help donate to this dedication. It is not necessary but we wanted to give the opportunity to others if they wanted to. Maggie knows I am working on something but I am not filling her in until we have more of the details ironed out. This weekend the 17u Bulldogs were in Jacksonville, Illinois for their "Spring Training"! It was good to get together and play some real baseball and work all the kinks out! Can't wait until we get back at it again. Go Bulldogs!
