What drives progress is the combination of effort, consistency, and direction.
Consistency without direction is random effort.
Effort without consistency is short lasting.
Direction without effort gives the body no reason to adapt
You need all 3, and in my opinion the simplest way solve those problems is to train from home with minimal equipment, hire a coach, and follow a structured program.
This is how you keep building when everything else in life is demanding more.
