As Durga Pujo 2026 is round the corner, it is time for us to get into the Sharodiya mood.
BIC is all set to celebrate Durga Pujo on October 24th and 25th. As every year, we are very excited to publish our yearly Pujo magazine: Porijayi. Little magazines have been a quintessential part of the Bengali artistic psyche, so as usual, we invite you to submit your poems, short stories, sketches, paintings, humor columns, essays/reflections, brain teasers and crosswords. Send in your entries to [email protected] by October 10th. Looking forward to your contributions. Please let us know if you have any questions.

CALL FOR PERFORMANCES!

Please reach out to [email protected] if you are interested in participating in the cultural program by April 28th.

Please mention your full name, the type of performance, and the duration. Please note that for this event, we would like to encourage a variety of recitations/songs/dances/skit performances on the theme of the New Year and/or a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore.

If you have any interesting ideas, please feel free to share them with us as well!
