Thank you to everyone who joined us for STOMPING GROUNDS - National Tap Dance Day! 👞✨

Together, we celebrated the rich legacy of American tap dance and experienced an unforgettable afternoon of rhythm with some of Chicago's finest "foot drummers".

Too often, National Tap Dance Day gets reduced to a fun excuse to break out the Shim Sham. But tap isn’t just entertainment, it’s memory you can hear.

When Congress established National Tap Dance Day in 1989, it wasn’t just symbolic. Choosing Robinson’s birthday wasn’t incidental, it was a statement about who helped shape that legacy.
