I finally got to LA, found this cheap Motel that was roach infested. Then I go to the guy and I'm like "yo bro I'm a struggling artist man, I can't afford $60 a night. And he was an Indian guy named Bob. I told him I don't have no bread and asked if I could pay $30. He accepted and told me if I wanted food, I could come eat with his kids in the morning. I get a call the Power guys want me to come in, and when I got in, it was me and Lakeith Stanfield and the rest is history.
