The Masters Hockey League was founded over 20 years ago, is a great Chicago adult Hockey League which believes in good sportsmanship above all else. If you are balding, developing love-handles, need to catch your breath at the top of a flight of stairs, pride yourself in making a great pass as much as scoring a highlight reel goal, then this league is for you. If, however, you are balding, develop

ing love-handles, need to catch your breath at the top of a flight of stairs, pride yourself in making a great pass as much as scoring a highlight reel goal and still think the scouts are in the stands watching you and every game is game 7 and you live for the self-gratification of making pylons out of your older less-skilled competition, then we kindly invite you not to join our league. The Masters Hockey League enjoys has the most fun of any league in town. However, our referees have zero tolerance for heroes or goons. Ours is a league where novice and skilled players over the age of 30, passers and scorers are invited to share the ice equally in a spirit of sportsmanship, fun and camaraderie. Hope you can be part of our great tradition which expands over 20 years.

Most Reverend Thomas John Paprocki, the Bishop of Springfield in Illinois, celebrated Mass on the Nelson Center Ice Rink to start the Spirit Hockey Camp. Bishop Thomas Paprocki is known in throughout the hockey community as the “Holy Goalie”.
