Please join us in welcoming our new Executive Director, Yaritzi Nunez! 🎉

Yaritzi is joining the McCormick YMCA with a passion for creating spaces where people feel connected, supported and empowered to grow.

She brings a strong background in youth development, education, program operations and organizational leadership. Most recently, Yaritzi served as Director of Programming and Operations at the Wiz Kids Foundation, helping expand programs and learning opportunities for young people across Chicago.

As she steps into her new role at McCormick Y, Yaritzi is looking forward to getting to know our members, families, staff and community partners, building meaningful relationships and discovering new ways we can grow together.

Welcome to the McCormick Y, Yaritzi! We’re excited to have you as part of our community and look forward to all that’s ahead. 💙

Calling all book lovers and families! 📚

While you’re enjoying the Printers Row Lit Fest this weekend, September 12–13, stop by the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago’s table in the Children & Families area of the park.

Bring the kids for face painting (or get one yourself!), say hello to our team and learn more about the programs, services and opportunities available at the Y.

Every great story starts somewhere, and maybe your next chapter starts at the Y. Come celebrate books, family and community with us! 💙 https://printersrowlitfest.org/
