The V15 fleet is hosting the CCYC St. Patrick's Day party on March 11. Since the kitchen will be closed, John Schellenbach is planning to make Corned Beef and Cabbage in a Guinness broth.

Please feel free to contribute to our Irish potluck dinner.

Righteous Acoustic Sound Party will be playing from 7 - 11.

Party: 3pm - 11pm
Food: 5pm until it is gone
Band: 7pm - 11pm

After four years, the V15 fleet returned to Nagawicka Lake for a weekend of sailing, camping, and camaraderie. Following two days of racing in a variety of conditions, Brian Kaczor came out on top to win NLYC's Oktoberfest Regatta.

CCYC is offering a class this summer for adults that would like to improve their sailing skills in a dinghy. The class runs for 8 consecutive weeks on Tuesday nights starting June 7 at 5:30pm.

Students will sail V15s and 420s. Current V15 owners wishing to improve their skill can bring their own boats. For people with their own boats, the price is $150 per person. We have 6 fleet / club owned boats available for sailors needing a charter boat. The price is $300 per person which includes charter and instruction.

Lessons will focus on drills to improve boat handling and speed. If you know someone who might be interested in attending, please forward the information. This class will be useful for keelboat skippers who want to improve their helming skills and crew who would like to begin helming. It is also appropriate for new sailors who wish to improve their crewing and sail trimming. Dinghies provide immediate feedback when you are out of tune or not steering correctly because the boats have little momentum to hide mistakes.

The V15 Summer Thursday Night Racing Series is back!

We will be racing every Thursday night between now and late September. First race goes off at 6:30 but we'll continue to try to get boats out even earlier for added races. We'll also be posting scores every week.
