The Chicago River Marathon & Half Marathon is just around the corner ➡️ 📅 September 13, 2026

Experience the only rowing marathon that winds through the heart of downtown Chicago! Race past some of the city’s most iconic architecture and landmarks, including Willis Tower, the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, Merchandise Mart, and more.

🥁🥁Countdown to the 46th Annual Chicago Sprints begins!

In just 17 days we kick off 3 days of racing at the Lincoln Park Boathouse. Don’t forget to get your entries in before the deadline. Standard registration closes June 30th and late registration closes July 4th.

The Quadathon continues with leg 3/4 underway!

The Lincoln Park Juniors are completing a quadathon to raise money for a new quad to replace one that was severely damaged during a training session in the lead up to Youth Nationals.

So far the 1V and 2V 4xs have launch from Dammrich Rowing Center in Skokie, and rowed south to Park 571 in Bridgeport, right through downtown Chicago (~25k). Then, they biked to the Lincoln Park Boat House (~14k). Currently they are doing a 1500-meter paddle on the lagoon. After that, they’ll run 5.5k to the Lathrop Boathouse.

An anonymous donor has pledged to match this week’s donations dollar for dollar up to $5,000 - every donation we receive between now and Sunday will help us take full advantage of this match!! The donation link is below for those on Facebook and in our bio on Instagram!
