A no-nonsense straightforward road racing bike perfectly crafted for the rider by Seven Cycles. This Axiom SL is a benchmark titanium frame from the masters in Watertown, MA. This very performance oriented young rider was looking for specific fit and ride details that Seven absolutely delivered on. Details like a slightly dropped chainstay to allow for a 52/36 crank and keeping the stays as short as possible for massive acceleration is one of many details that make a bike like this special. Serotta Legend T9 recently delivered. The distinctive tapered, swaged, ovalized and square tube shaping along with butted profiles make Serotta bikes ride like no other. The balance between acceleration and ride quality makes for a high performance ride that will keep you smiling after hours (or days!) in the saddle. Finish is a lightweight and durable cerakote with knockout logos to show off the titanium material. Weight is saved everywhere possible by machining the ti and incorporating carbon tubes without sacrificing durability or ride quality. As a matter of fact, all these innovations enhance every aspect of how these bikes ride and hold up over time. The ability to run multiple tire sizes expand opportunities to dial in the bike based on different terrains and riding styles. So much value in one well thought out and considered package. A very custom Axiom XX from our partner taking titanium to a place few can go. Removing weight wherever possible without compromising ride quality or durability is a hallmark of this level of frame building. The asymmetrical chainstays, machined head tube, and moto style seatstays are standout visual cues. What is less obvious is the external butting of the tube set which removes material to shave weight. Wall thickness and diameter of the tubing is also selected to achieve the desired ride quality and stiffness level based on rider weight and riding style. Seven also entertained the clients desire to have their original logo font from the late 90’s on the downtube. Deep custom from fit, finish, ride, and function.
