When you step onto the floor with teams like Montverde or La Lumiere, the speed of the game changes completely.

If your kid hasn't been pressure tested in real development, they will look like they're moving in slow motion. This circuit is a 32-minute audition for the NBA.
If that's the goal, your training needs to match that intensity today. You can't "turn it on" when you get there. You have to be that player before you ever put on the jersey.
The EYBL Scholastic circuit separates the developed from the underdeveloped instantly. There's nowhere to hide.

We build the engine that can handle the circuit before your kid ever steps foot on that floor.

I see parents turn their nose up at D3 or NAIA opportunities because they're chasing the D1 "high."

Here's a reality check: D3 players in competitive conferences would give your "All-Star" AAU kid a 30-point blowout. These are grown men who play for the love of the game and get high-end degrees.

Don't let your ego steal a free or subsidized education from your child. A college jersey is a college jersey. If the fit is right and the education is paid for, you won't care about the "Division" ten years from now when they're a successful professional.
D3 basketball is not a consolation prize. It's a legitimate path to both basketball success and life success.

I see kids holding out for Big Ten or ACC offers while solid Mid-Major schools are offering them a starting spot.
Here's the truth: Being a star at a Mid-Major is better than being a benchwarmer at a Power 5 school.

You get more minutes, more development, and a better shot at the pro level later. Don't chase the logo—chase the opportunity to play.
In Chicago, we produce a lot of Mid-Major killers who end up having better careers than the hyped five-stars who rode the bench at big schools.

Focus on the fit, not the fame. The best opportunity isn't always the biggest name.

A college coach isn't giving your kid a scholarship because they "like" them. They're hiring them to perform a job: win games and keep the coach employed.

If your kid doesn't understand that—if they think it's about status or fame—they won't last a semester. I've seen kids lose their ride because they treated a $200,000 education like a hobby.

You need to build a professional at fourteen, or they'll be a high-priced failure at eighteen.

The scholarship isn't a reward for being good. It's a business contract with expectations, performance standards, and consequences.

The scholarship is the start of the work, not the finish line.

I see kids spend hours on logo threes and zero minutes on free throws.
Then they lose a regional playoff game by two points because they went 4-for-10 from the line.

Free throws are mental. It's about routine, breathing, and target focus. It's the only part of the game that never changes—the rim is always ten feet up and fifteen feet away.
If your kid doesn't have a 100-shot daily free throw routine, they are leaving points on the table. Don't be the reason your team loses in the playoffs.
Free throws are "free" for a reason. Take advantage.

I've seen uncoachable kids with NBA talent end up working at the mall at twenty-one.
And I've seen average players with elite character end up as CEOs, lawyers, and successful consultants.

Basketball is the vehicle, but character is the engine. At Team Sauce, we audit the attitude before we audit the jumper.
Because if you can't take a brutal audit from a coach, you won't survive a performance review from a boss. If you can't handle correction in practice, you won't handle feedback at work.

The ball stops bouncing eventually. Your character doesn't. Build the person, and the player will follow.

Junior College is not a failure. It's a laboratory.

If your kid isn't ready—academically or physically—JUCO is the best two-year development program in the world. It's time to grow up, get your grades right, and play against grown men who are hungry for scholarships.
It's a second chance at a D1 dream. Don't let the stigma of Junior College stop your child from reaching their ceiling.

In Chicago, we respect the JUCO grind because we know that's where real dogs are made. These players have been through adversity. They've been counted out. They come back stronger.

If you're willing to work, the path doesn't matter. Results matter.

When you reach a certain level, the IHSA schedule can't give you what you need.
You need national exposure. You need to play against 7-footers every night. You need a college-prep schedule that prepares you for the next level.
Devin's move to La Lumiere was about finding a professional environment that matched his development level.

If your kid is dominating the local scene but stalling out in development, it's time for a brutal audit of their environment.
Sometimes you have to leave home to find your future. The question is: When is that time for your kid?

We help families decide when staying loyal to home is holding their kid back.

Watch the pros. They are efficient. They get to their spot in one or two dribbles.
Every extra dribble is another chance for a defender to poke the ball away or for help defense to arrive. Your kid is giving the defense time to react.
We train our players to be assassins—catch, rip, and go. If you can't get your shot off in two dribbles, you're holding the ball too long.

Efficiency is the mark of a high-IQ player. Stop over-dribbling and start producing.
The difference between AAU ball and winning ball: Efficiency. Purpose. Every dribble matters.

Chicago is home, but your opportunity might be in South Dakota, Texas, or Maine.
Too many families get stuck thinking they only want "local" schools. They want to stay close to home. They want comfort and convenience.
But if a school 1,000 miles away is offering to pay for your child's future, you take that meeting.

Basketball is a ticket to see the world. Don't let hometown comfort zones shrink your child's potential.
We prep our kids to be global athletes. To be ready to go where they are wanted, not just where it's convenient.

Your kid's future is bigger than your zip code.
