I am enjoying feeling myself get stronger everyday. Strength-training routines that were once hard feel easier. My endurance for cardio is higher. My waist is losing inches! I am absolutely in love with adding resistance training to my workout regimen. 🔥

🐹 Loving Home Needed for Two Guinea Pigs 🐹

We’re looking to rehome our two sweet female guinea pigs. They’re both healthy, about a year old, and have been well cared for. Unfortunately, my husband has developed severe allergies, so we need to find them a new home as soon as possible.

They will come with everything you need to get started:
• Spacious cage
• Food + hay
• Bedding
• Accessories

We’re not charging anything—our only goal is to find them a safe, loving home where they’ll be well cared for.

Ideally looking for someone who:
• Has experience with guinea pigs (or is willing to learn)
• Can give them consistent care and attention
• Will keep them together (they’re bonded)

Quickly before the night ends, I just want to say that I’m at a loss of words. On such an unpredictable weather day, y’all showed out in Chicago. Oh how much I love the aftermath of stepping outside of your comfort zone. It feels really good to do something you’ve wanted to do especially when you have to push past doubts & insecurities. Today, I went to the gym, solo & spontaneously, because I have been strength-training at home and felt ready to turn it up a notch. I tried machines I normally wouldn’t dare touch without someone with me. I made a gym-buddy because she was so kind enough to answer any questions I had & she even offered her pink neck/shoulder cushion. I bravely shot some clips, so I can check my form. I picked up heavier dumbbells than I do at home. I focused on making sure I hit “progressive overload”. I felt so good after my stretching session. The ride back home was very sweet, and I felt all the happy hormones dancing in me. I am very excited to be on this strength-training journey.

Tonight was the LAST class of the week at Elmwood Parks & Recreation! We welcomed two new participants, and they both absolutely enjoyed themselves. I was so happy to welcome in Miss Serenity with her auntie Lisa! She was a rockstar, and I hope to be seeing more of her this month! 💪 We also welcomed in Jennifer, and she felt good after. It means a lot to me when our joy is spread all around the room. Every single one of you gave me your best energy. It doesn’t feel like a workout class by how much fun we have! Everyone should be able to feel what we feel in that space!
