Guess the difference in weight between these 2 photos?
(p.s. Read this it's important)
8 lbs
From mid July to now. Now WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
Look at her body composition guys. From the delts, abdomen area, glutes-hammie mix in.
The reason this is important is so many of us are super fixated on the scale and we give up too early on.
NOW let me emphasize this, she has been weight lifting since she began 4-5x a week every single week. She has not starved herself, followed by binging, her nutrition has been on point. By “on point” I don’t mean, following some crazy extreme, I mean eating multiple meals a day, taking her vitamins, and on the days she desires to go out and eat, she eats. She has been eating 1500-2000 calories a day and has been able to make it through the holidays with structure, BECAUSE at no point did we remove ANY types of food from her diet.
-
There is NO removal of carbs, there is NO removal of not going to family events and enjoying/indulging. There is NO removal of sugars. There is a structure she follows on most routined days, there is new recipes that make her structure more fun, and there is a support group (her sister). (Who you surround yourself with is also so, so, so important.
-
She has had life events occur, but she overcame and adhered.
-
A big part of this is her wanting more for herself, but another BIG part of this is not following a regimen from someone who is trying to get her to starve herself. Too often I see people offering guidance, starving their females and demanding a large amount of cardio.
-
We lower her cardio when we up some calories and add mini bulks during the holiday seasons.
-
You will NOT gain muscle and have a body recomposition by only going to the gym 1x a week and being sub par with your diet. Which needs clarification, because too often I hear people think the scale isn't moving because of increased muscle mass.
-
Beginner gains are a thing, but with effort. This has been a HUGE body recomposition.
