Swimmers, the rain has finally ended! Prepare for relatively comfortable conditions at the beach, although it may be a bit windy. We'll keep an eye on the skies, but it should be a great day to swim. Stay tuned here for updates. Otherwise, we'll see you at the beach.

It’s a gorgeous day at the beach. Let’s Swim! We’ll continue to keep our eyes on the skies, but we’ll work around a small pop-up shower or storm if needed. Here we go!

LET'S OWS! 🏊 Participants in today's session should check their inbox for a custom QR code and last-minute event details. We're planning for a warm afternoon at the beach, and watching for scattered rain or storms in the area. Like previous sessions, we plan to host a swim as long as the beach remains open and the skies clear of lightning. NOTE: Just like race day, we WILL swim in the rain.

We’ll continue to monitor conditions and share any relevant updates right here. Otherwise, plan for a refreshing dip in 67°F Lake Michigan!

Swimmers: Tomorrow's (May 27) Open Water Swim session has been CANCELED due to unsafe swim conditions.

While the cold water (57°F) is manageable, colder air temperatures, sustained northeasterly winds, sunless skies, and a 40% chance of rain will make for miserable conditions for athletes and coaches alike.

We apologize for the news, but we will never waiver on safety. Registered athletes should check their inboxes (or junk folders) with full details, including transfers to other events.
