I haven’t been showing up on here as consistently as I’d like… but that’s about to change 💙

Get ready for more real-life content — GRWM, day-in-the-life, and a behind-the-scenes look at what it actually takes to run this swim business. Think 8:30am–8:30pm days, 12 hours in the water… not for the weak 😅 but so incredibly worth it.

Because this work isn’t just about teaching a few kids how to swim. It’s about reaching multiple families every single day, building confidence, creating safety, and making a real impact that ripples far beyond the pool and the age and stage your kiddo is at right now. That’s what keeps it fun, fulfilling, and bigger than just a “job.”

Also, quick update on bringing ISR to Cheyenne— I’m still working toward funding. We’ve raised $200 so far (thank you!!!) toward an $8,000 goal. We’ve got a ways to go, but I’m excited to start rolling out some fun raffles, giveaways, and even a few free packages to help build momentum 🎉

Talk about a rough start to the weekend!!!!

Thank you all for your flexibility and understanding with today’s schedule change. I truly appreciate how supportive and adaptable this community continues to be.

While we may have missed one of our Saturdays at East—with only a few remaining—I’m really looking forward to being back in the water with everyone next week. Your consistency and commitment mean so much, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

To the families I do get to see today, I’m excited for our time together! And even for those we’re missing in person, I’m grateful we still get to stay a little connected online.

🧜🏾‍♀️✨ Little Swimmers Turning Into Mermaids ✨🧜🏾‍♀️

Your child is already doing AMAZING things in the water 💙 They can swim short distances, put their face in, maybe even float, and make it back to the wall—huge wins!!

Now this is where we begin leveling up… and where confidence really starts to grow 🫧 as we move to deeper waters and bigger challenges.

🧜🏾‍♀️ Learning how to breathe while swimming
🫧 Practicing lifting the head, side breathing, and rolling onto the back
🧜🏾‍♀️ Building confidence so they don’t freeze or rush to stand
🫧 Connecting arms + breath control + body movement smoothly
🧜🏾‍♀️ Starting to tread water, float longer, and refine strokes

Breathing can feel tricky at first—it takes more effort and coordination. But with practice and guidance, they learn to stay calm, keep moving, and TRUST their skills 💪💦

Little swim hack for you 👇

Most kids don’t like putting their face in the water… not because they can’t — but because it feels scary.

Eyes squeezed shut.
Everything goes dark.
Water gets in their nose.

That’s why I LOVE goggles.

I don’t push a lot of extras… but goggles are one thing I will always say yes to. They help kids SEE, feel safe, and build confidence. I don’t want your child to connect the pool with stinging eyes or discomfort.

But here’s the big thing 👇

It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It just has to be DONE.

They can turn their head.
They can squeeze you tight.
They can come up fast.

Just go underwater.

✨ Bonus points if you go under with them.
Show them it’s not a big deal.
Most times I’m not even wearing goggles — I open my eyes, smile, and show them the water is safe and splashing is FUN.

The first few visits?
It will NOT look picture perfect.

It might look silly.
They might turn away.
They might get a little water in their mouth.

That’s okay.

Give them simple tools:
👀 “Open your eyes”
🤐 “Close your mouth”
💨 “Take a deep breath” (show them!)

Keep it simple. Keep it consistent. Even if they drink water! We are not scared! It happens 🤷🏾‍♀️

And make this your rule:
👉 Go underwater 3 times every time you’re at the pool.

Set the expectation. Stick to it.
That’s how confidence is built.

⚠️ One more BIG tip:
Make sure your goggles are sealed and fit your child’s face well.
We want a consistent, comfortable experience — no water in the eyes.

When goggles work, kids trust them.
Just like they trust you.

Water in the eyes = frustration.
The right fit = confidence.

All you have to do is:
• Book the timeslot you want
• Add swimmer names under family member (up to 4)

For siblings sharing:
• Book a 30-minute lesson

Keep in mind:
• Indoor pools are available until June 3rd, heated to 78° - 80°
• Outdoor pool is available June 9- Aug 15, heated to 85° - 88° , sign up closes June 1 (or earlier if the spots are gone!)
