WCRS Spotlight: Sheri Foster 🎾
Sheri Foster has been making an incredible impact in the racquet sports community as the Facility Manager of Frontier Park Indoor Tennis in Cheyenne, Wyoming since September 2025. Alongside her husband, Roy, Sheri stepped into the role with energy and purpose—truly hitting the ground running.
Since taking over the indoor facility lease, Sheri has helped bring meaningful growth and innovation to the program. New initiatives include an online court reservation platform, adult and parent intro-to-tennis drills (allowing kids to participate simultaneously in red and orange dot programs), expanded junior and high school programming, cardio tennis, and multiple levels of adult drills.
Sheri earned her Racquet Sports Professionals Association Level I Certification in October 2025 and plays a key role behind the scenes—managing programming, supporting coaches, and continuously finding new ways to grow the game of tennis in the Cheyenne community.
Her journey into tennis is especially inspiring. Sheri discovered the sport later in life and quickly developed a deep passion for it. She has been an active member of the Cheyenne Tennis Association, serving as both a board member and past president, and has competed and captained teams in the Intermountain section.
At the heart of everything Sheri does is the mission of Frontier Park Indoor Tennis: Fostering the LOVE of Tennis 4 Everyone
Sheri believes the social connections built through tennis are just as important as what happens on the court. Her commitment is simple—if someone wants to learn the game, she will find a way to make it happen.
👏 Thank you, Sheri, for your passion, leadership, and dedication to growing the game and building community through tennis.
