🏆 WYO-CO RODEO FINALS RECAP 🏆
Yesterday was one hell of a day, and we couldn’t be more proud of how our finals turned out!
First and foremost, thank you to every parent who trusted us with your kids. That means more to us than you will ever know. To all of our kids — THANK YOU for showing up, giving it your all, and being such outstanding young people. Watching you grow, not just as riders but as people, is what makes all of this worth it. ❤️
And watching our Walk-Trots, our youngest riders — some of them only 3 years old — is something pretty damn special.
Hagen Schulz started with us this year and had NEVER been on before. He was scared to death when he started, but he kept showing up. And not only did he keep showing up, he never missed one! Hagen has racked up around 900 points this season, and yesterday we got to watch just how far he has come.
He was a totally different rider from that scared little cowboy we saw at the beginning of the year. Now he’s confident, determined, and a cowboy who absolutely can’t get enough!
And yesterday, all that hard work paid off — Hagen Schulz is our Wyo-Co Walk-Trot Champion! 🏆🐂
That right there is why we do this. Watching these kids grow, gain confidence, overcome fear and fall in love with this sport is something we will never get tired of.
And then there are our volunteers. ❤️
Most of our volunteers are Dalton’s friends, young men who could absolutely be somewhere else doing something else with their time, but instead they choose to show up for these kids.
They have been at every rodeo, and most of them show up to every practice too. They work, they help, they encourage the kids, they do whatever needs to be done — and they do it because they care.
I cannot put into words how grateful I am for these young men. They don’t have to be there. They choose to be there, and that says a hell of a lot about who they are.
And this year, we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Bricen — our Wyo-Co Volunteer of the Year! 🏆
Bricen, thank you for always showing up, putting in the work, and being there for these kids. We appreciate the hell out of you!
We also have to recognize JD Cathcart, our bull fighter who has been with us from the very beginning. JD is one hell of a bull fighter, and he has been a huge part of Wyo-Co and keeping our kids safe.
Yesterday was his last one, and he definitely didn’t go out easy! He took a few high miles and even caught a hook doing what he does — putting himself in the middle of the action to protect these kids. That’s JD.
JD is now hanging up his cleats and vest and retiring. We are damn sad to see him step away, but we are incredibly grateful for every mile, every hit, every hook and every time he put that vest on and stepped between a kid and a bull.
Thank you, JD, for everything you have done for Wyo-Co and these kids. You’re one hell of a bull fighter, and you will always be part of the Wyo-Co family. ❤️🐂
And then there’s our family. ❤️
Our oldest daughter LeeAnn and her husband Jasia may not be cowboys like the rest of us 😂, but they are just as much a part of this as anyone.
LeeAnn has stepped up and become a sponsor through her little baking business, she has brought so many great ideas to the table for what we can do moving forward, and she is always willing to jump in and help.
And somehow we even got Jasia dressed up like a cowboy and pulling the out gate! 😂🤠
And then there’s Aspen Willis Joy, our secretary. She has a full-time job, she’s a mama, and somehow she still finds the time to put in the work for these kids. She is even learning Spanish so she can better communicate and help more of our families.
That is the kind of dedication that means so damn much to us. She doesn’t have to do all of this, but she does it because she loves these kids and believes in what we’re doing. ❤️
This is what I love about Wyo-Co.
Everybody in our family has their own thing, but when it comes to Wyo-Co, we all come together. Some of us are cowboys, some aren’t, some are behind the scenes, some are in the arena — but every single one of us has a part in making this happen.
Dallas and our family started this because we simply wanted more bull riding for kids in Cheyenne. We never imagined it would grow into what it is today. Watching our family come together to help other families do what we all love is one of the greatest parts of this whole thing.
And we have to give a special shoutout to Ethan Geiger. Ethan has been with us from the very beginning and has stuck with us all the way to the end. This year he graduates, which is definitely bittersweet. Watching these kids grow up right in front of us is one of the coolest parts of doing this. Ethan told us he loves that we are adding the Open Bull Riding to Wyo-Co, and we couldn’t be happier to have him be part of this next chapter. We’re damn proud of you, Ethan! 🤘🐂
A HUGE thank you to Robb Bunten for everything he has done to teach each one of us how to be successful. Rob has been a great influence on our Dalton, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, knowledge, and guidance he has given him and all of us.
🏆 SPONSOR OF THE YEAR 🏆
Triple J Pumping!
These guys came in clutch our second year, and they have been with us ever since. They show up, they support us, and they make sure our mamas have a clean toilet to use! 😂🚽
Seriously though, we cannot thank Triple J Pumping enough for sticking with us year after year and always being there when we need them.
Thank you for believing in Wyo-Co and being part of this family! ❤️

Thank you to every single one of our sponsors. This damn sure couldn’t happen without you! Your support helps us continue giving these kids a place to ride, compete, grow and build confidence.
And finally, THANK YOU, CHEYENNE! ❤️
Thank you to our community for always sharing our posts, telling your friends and family about us, tagging us in posts and helping spread the word. Word of mouth is amazing, and we truly believe so much of what Wyo-Co has become is because of the support we get from this community.
Every share, every tag, every recommendation and every person who shows up means more than you know.
Thank you, Cheyenne, for believing in us and these kids. 🤠❤️
What started as Dallas and our family wanting more bull riding in Cheyenne has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined.
Family coming together to help other families do what we all love.
Wyo-Co Rodeo — more than bull riding, it’s family. 🤠🐂❤️
