Ok parents! I have a fundraising Idea/opportunity for players to help cut the cost of registration. For those of you interested, but this is becoming time sensitive. I’d like to have a kicking derby. The way it works- players gather pledges, either one time pledge or can be x$ per yard kicked. Then host a kicking derby at the football field. Example- player kicks the ball 20 yards, and someone pledged $1 per yard, that equals $20 from whoever signed up for that. Or collect a one time pledge of any dollar amount. I have the pledge sheets ready to go. It is up to the player to gather pledges from family, friends, local businesses etc. then the money is pooled together to go towards all players fees. The best outcome would be it covers everyone for free from the donations. Or at the very least, discounts the fee to be more manageable. The money is pooled because not every player can gather pledges. One player might raise hundreds, another maybe $20 total. So as a team, the money is pooled. Unfortunately this only helps for those who have not paid yet.

In general, how many kids are interested? Parents? Is your 4th-6th grader interested in tackle football? Looking for a head count, show of hands etc. registered or not. Needing a head count. 🏈

Did everyone get a chance to read this??? Now is the time to get your kids signed up. League practice starts July 24th. If we don’t get enough kids signed up this won’t be an option for Chewelah youth.

Youth tackle football is making its way back to Chewelah and we need your help! Mt. Spokane and Mead have generously helped Chewelah out and welcomed us to join their league.
This league will be for 4th-6th graders. We are trying to gauge player interest and find a coach that is willing to take on an important role in the Chewelah Football program.

If anyone is interested in becoming a youth football coach and a key part to the football program please call Bill Boyd at 509-981-6909 for more information.

League Practice Start Date: July 24th
Registration Fee's include:
-4 Home Games/ 4 Away Games
-Uniforms (to keep) and Football Equipment included when players join the league.
-Team liability insurance

Please do not let money stand in the way of this opportunity for our youth! We have great community support and people willing to sponsor kids!
