Another update since I just posted a few hours ago and things at the tennis courts have changed! Good news that on Wednesday evening that CCRA tennis courts will open due to Governor Hogan allowing for tennis to resume!ππ
All players using the courts and participating in group or private classes will be asked to follow the hygiene and distancing guidelines. This includes the use of hand sanitizers before, during and after play, provide own water, avoid touching court gates, fences, benches, etc. if possible, and avoid congregating before or after play. Wearing your mask coming and going is recommended as well as wearing gloves.
During the clinics, I will be implementing live ball drills vs feeding drills, ball tubes used to pick up balls to prevent touching balls, maintaining distance among players, and cleaning equipment after each class. For the time being, no more than 4 players on a court.
Clinics begin Monday, May 11th and The cost will be $180.00/CCRA member and $200.00/non-member based on 4 players and clinic times are 9:00-10:30am and 10:30-12:00pm. Afternoon clinics can also be arranged.
Many of you had registered in March for the April/May spring session for a specific day, time, etc.Does this day, time still work for you? If you had not registered and interested, let me know and happy to get you into a group based on your level and schedule.
For those with eager kids at home, I am also working on the junior class schedule to begin next week as well. I can offer a junior class at the same time as your adult clinic, if interested.
So looking forward to resuming and seeing you back at the courts! We will continue to be very safe because as you know, we are not out of the woods yet by any means. But this is a great start!
If interested, reach out soon!πΎπ
