RULES UPDATE 1/30/26
CLASSES:
Stock Class - Under 650, 651-800, 801-999, Turbo
Improved Stock Class - Under 650, 651-800, 801-999, 1,000+, Turbo
King of the Lake Class – Natural Under 1000cc, Turbo Under 1000cc, Natural Over 1000cc, Turbo Over 1000cc
STOCK CLASS RULES: $40 per class with 100% pay out 1st ,2nd and 3rd
• NO Launch controls allowed
• Engine must be of stock bore, stroke, and compression for model year of sled.
• NO base gasket changes or alterations that change stock engine dimensions.
• Must have Stock carburetor and OEM Air Box for model and year.
• OEM exhaust pipes. Aftermarket cans allowed but must exit out of stock exhaust hole.
• Must have stock clutches front and rear.
• Stock or any OEM track can be used but not shaved.
• Only carbide tip studs can be used in any amount. NO ice picks, chisels or grinding of studs is allowed.
• Suspension must be stock for model and year. NO drilling or relocating of arms or stock wheels. NO rail extensions. No aftermarket suspensions.
• Stock or any aftermarket skis may be used, but NO short or shortened skis
• Use of Stock CDI or ECU only.
• No aftermarket EFI kits.
• Only OEM turbos are allowed
• No pressured fuel systems, aftermarket turbo or NOS kits.
• No aftermarket Reed Valves or Blocks.
• MUST HAVE WORKING HEADLIGHT, TAILLIGHT in the Factory Location
• Working TETHER
IMPROVED STOCK CLASS RULES $40 per class with 100% payout 1st, 2nd, 3rd
• OEM number of cylinders and stroke must be maintained.
• Pipes/Cans are OK but must exit out of stock exhaust hole.
• Aftermarket heads, reeds and blocks are OK.
• Sled must have stock suspension. Stock rail stiffeners, aftermarket rails and rail extensions ARE allowed.
• NO cleated Tracks.
• Any carbide tip studs or chisel system can be used.
• Must have Hood and taillight in Factory Location. Working headlight NOT required.
• Working TETHER.
• Any Primary or Secondary Clutches can be used.
PRO MOD CLASS RULES $50 per class with 100% pay out 1st, 2nd, 3rd
• ENGINE & FUEL:
4-stroke: Any OEM production snowmobile engine/No billet blocks or heads.
VP Q-16 REG – VP IMPORT REG – Fuel Factory F160
2-stroke: Any OEM production snowmobile-based snowmobile engine
platform/billet allowed. Any gasoline.
• No water/methanol injection. No nitrous oxide.
• CVT drive only.
• One unmodified/OEM Arctic Cat or OEM Yamaha IHI turbo allowed

• All modifications allowed.
• Any fuel system allowed.
• Any track or stud (chisel) system allowed.
• Working TETHER.
GRUDGE RACES:
• Buy 3 tickets for $10
• Call out your buddy or whoever you feel you can whoop up on
• Up to 4 racers head to head
• Turn ticket into starter
• Winner collects tickets after race is completed from staff
• Racer with the most tickets is the grudge champion
• 1st place $100 gift card
• 2nd place $ 50 gift card
Overview
Winner receives Cash Prize based on # of class registrations.
• Registration open 1-24-26.
• Waiver form must be signed prior to racing- MVP or staff will not be liable.
• Safety Tether must be operational and used - rider personal protective equipment suggested.
• Practice starts at 8 am
• Race start at 10 am
• Bracket racing - random draw
• Flashlight starts
• Finish line staff determine placement at completion of race, photos will be used is needed
• Race director has full discretion on all rules, placements etc.
• You must be 2 races early in to staging area and ready to race upon class call
• Warming tent will be on the ice with food and beverages. 4 Season Rec club will be selling food. MVP will have beverages for sale.
• Payouts at MVP around 5pm. Must be present to accept payouts.
We are doing this again for FUN, enjoyment and the love of all thing’s snowmobiles- we are not PRO’s at this. We are learning and working hard to make it better each year. please come enjoy, have fun and be around like-minded folks. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing you again.
