Congratulations to NJ Axemen 13U for advancing to the Gold Bracket of the USSSA Firecracker World Series at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in FL! Not an easy task for Northeast teams to head south and compete on the national stage. These guys represented the northeast proudly!

It was a successful opening weekend for our 11U, 12U, and 13U Axemen National squads. 11U and 12U opened up in the USSSA Thunderstruck tourney on their path to accumulate points for the upcoming Elite World Series at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in FL. 12U just fell short in the Championship game 6-3 facing a very rough lefty from LE Baseball. 13U just missed playoff qualification at the Diamond Nation Easter Extravaganza ending the tournament in 5th place and a couple runs shy of qualification.

In our 14U division a big congratulations to our two NES finalists and overall Champion NES Grit Black who defeated NES National 2-1 on a walkoff hit. Our NES platform is what all of our youth Axemen strive for and these 14U teams are leading by tremendous example! It’s going to be a special year to be an Axemen or NES player! Can’t wait for next week!

Announcing NJ Axemen National 2023 Tryouts 8U-13U.

Our outdoor tryouts will take place on 10/29 at Pequannock Town Hall Field:
530 Newark Pompton Turnpike
Pompton Plains, NJ

8U&9U 1:00pm-2:30pm
10U&11U 2:45pm-4:15pm
12U&13U 4:30pm-6pm

Serious, committed ballplayers only. One team per age group.

NJ Axemen has been a household club name for the past 10 years. During this time we have achieved national rankings per Perfect Game. We have over 20 top 3 finishes in PG. We have produced over 50 college committed players and one MLB draft pick with our first team being 10 years ago starting at 8U. Please note that these were kids that started with our program at 8U and went all the way through their high school years. Many teams/organizations will claim college commitments on guest players who have played 1 tournament.

The 2023 format will have some national flair with events in USSSA MD, VA, and FL. Perfect Game, Sports at the Beach, Hershey and a strong push to return teams to the USABL World Series where we have won several titles. We also have a bid to Cooperstown Dreams Park where we have several finalist/semi-finalist finishes.

NJ Axemen is a feeder program to NES, a nationally ranked college preparatory program whose senior class has produced almost $1 million in college scholarships.
