Chesterton Bicycle Station Bicycle enthusiast Tony Evans founded Chesterton Bicycle Station in 1983. He began servicing bicycles out of his garage providing sales of quality products

He began servicing bicycles out of his garage.Business bloomed and he quickly saw the need in the area for a bicycle shop, devoted to its customers, providing sales of quality products and accessories accompanied by knowledgeable staff that would provide prompt, quality service on all makes of bicycles. In 1991 Tony made his dream come true. With a little seed money from devoted parents and a lot

of sweat from family and friends, he designed and built our store. Our mainstay has consistently been bicycles-BMX, road, mountain, cross, comfort, urban, recumbent, 3-wheelers-anything that gets riders out on wheels and ENJOYING the ride the way they want to. The most important aspect of cycling is enjoying your bike and having it perform the way you want it to-for you and all members of your family.

After 42 years in the bicycle business, and 35 of those spent pedaling along with Chesterton, Indiana it’s time to shift gears and coast into the next chapter.



It’s been an amazing ride, filled with great customers, incredible employees, and more friendships than I could’ve ever imagined. Whether you stopped in for a tune-up, a new bike, or just to chat….thank you. You’ve made this journey unforgettable.



Now, before we ride off into the sunset, we’ve got one last hill to climb: our Going Out of Business Sale!

Everything must go… bikes, gear, displays, and fixtures; if it’s not bolted down (and even if it is), it’s probably for sale. Help us clear it all out before our final day on August 30, 2025.



Come grab a deal, share a memory, and say goodbye.
