The Conquest of the Midwest Rimfire Challenge Regional Championship at NPCCC was a huge success. Team Volquartsen's Jenna Larsen was high over all in both Open and Limited. NPCCC 's Joe Ornelas finish 2nd overall in both Open and Limited. Team Volquartsen's Layton Taves finished 3rd in both Open and Limited. Over 155 shooters attended . So many great sponcers ***r

Safety Tip of the Day 🔒

Never allow the muzzle to point at anything you are not willing to destroy.

When drawing from a purse, handbag, briefcase, or any off-body carry method, always maintain complete awareness of where your muzzle is pointed.

As you establish your grip and present your firearm, never allow the muzzle to cross any part of your body. This includs your support hand, arm, leg, torso, or anyone around you. The muzzle should remain pointed in a safe direction throughout the entire draw until it is on target.

Practice your draw with an unloaded firearm in a safe environment, after verifying it is unloaded and removing all live ammunition from the practice area. Stand in front of a mirror and move slowly, watching the path of the muzzle during every step of your presentation.

Remember: The only acceptable place for the muzzle is in a safe direction or on the intended threat after you have made the decision to defend yourself.

Perfect practice creates safe habits. Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.
