Champion. Noun. A person who has defeated or surpassed all others in competition.

These girls are now CHAMPIONS on and off the court after winning the state title last week with their teammates from !

They have spent countless hours at practice followed by more hours training and recovering. Watching their dedication to not just themselves and their team, but to the PROCESS, has been a joy to behold.

Getting to be there to see them reach this peak on Friday brought me to the verge of tears. Knowing their sacrifice, and that of their teammates, parents, and coaches, made it even more special.

For .little and .witherspoon, this senior season has been the culmination of a high school career marked with so much promise and potential. They finally got this one! For sophomore .witherspoon, she’s got this one now, but she’s already calling for the next!

Congratulations, ladies!!!
