We don't just say "live in the rack." We actually live it. I had Neil set up yesterday for squats, split squats on the roller, and leg curls, all within the space you see in the photos. We only let him out of the cage to write in his training journal.

Okay, go on over there little bird and flap away with another set of cable flies. Meanwhile, the guy who doesn't care about labels and actually trains hard enough to need to recover between sessions looks like this and you look like you.

Bigger and stronger, that's what we do. weighed about 148 pounds when he started training with me. He weighs almost 170 now and most of it has been lean muscle tissue gain. Here he is benching 160 for almost 8 at age 17. That was his max 6 months ago.

Our training business is called CORE, and the O in our logo is a power rack. No one gets that we're making fun of core training, whatever that is, and saying that the rack should really be at the core of your training program, but that's okay. We get our own jokes, and we laugh at them.

We're constantly coming up with new ways to train ourselves and our clients in our tank-like yet gorgeous rack. Here's Chuck testing explosive shrugs using our rackable hex bar and the safety straps. We'll know more after he loads them up, but they may end up being a preferred shrugging variation.

Adam is 17 and wants to compete in powerlifting. He's already pretty strong too, with a double bodyweight squat. But he needs to put on some size to improve his leverages so that he can lift more weight. We added these Bulgarian split squats after his barbell back squats to try to stimulate some muscle growth. Always do your main movement first, and choose accessory work with a purpose in mind. And if you slip and fall off that horse like he did, jump right back on.
