it's back to school time, and another FSRD practice is in the books! 🛼🧡📚

Last night Coach Dagger had us work on various stopping techniques, including hockey stops! 🏒🛑🦵🏻Then we did a pace line, focusing on speed control & staying together. Then we closed out the night with laterals, footwork, and using our toe stops 🛼👣🔥

Tiny but mighty, this firecracker of a skater is celebrating a birthday today! Please help us in wishing a very happy birthday to Chelsea Dagger! This fierce dragon typically throws on the star and is through the pack and gone before the opposing blockers even figured out who our jammer was! Slicing through a pack with precision and her eyes on the prize, Chelsea Dagger is a jammer we're glad is our team! She's been collecting points since she started almost 10 years ago! Happy Birthday, Chelsea!!

Grab your crew, your spices and that fancy piece of jewelry and join us as we wish the happiest of birthdays to the one and only Slamwise! This fierce skater joined us just over 2 years ago and has been slaying it on the track. She is a true team player, and always has her teammates' backs. There to help in any and every capacity she can, whether she's guiding the team as the bench coach, volunteering or rocking it on the track. She hit the track for her first game in June and skated her second game the day after! A true dragon at heart, Happy Birthday Slam!!

Only 2 more practices before our rookie game MEAN GIRLS VS. NAPOLEON DYNAMITE! 🛼💋📓💖🤓🕺🎶

Coach Tofu had us first do a waterfall pace line, then we worked on weaves, stepping, and laterals. After that we did some pack work, having fun with numbers. Followed up with scrimmaging & scenarios, and a really fun shopping cart race at the end! 🛼🔥🛒💨🔥💨
